The future of T20

As Twenty20 is still young and the graph of the popularity of this game is still rising, the only factor to notice is how long its popularity keeps on rising in this rate. There will be a point when the excitement of this game will be decreased and people will get weary.

However, Football and some other kind of sports have proven that nothing is too much in the world of sports. Nevertheless, the mechanism of football is very different. Every team, be it big or small, has a dedicated group of fans, who are emotionally engaged with the club. Football also has enough fans who find genuine interest in the game and its skills. On the other hand, T20 has attracted its visitors, mainly because of its total thrilling environment, pure cricketing skills are not offered here. The concepts of strict team loyalty do not exist in the T20 world, unless they are international teams.
The ultimate truth is that, T20 is absolutely the party atmosphere. Now the question is; how much thrill of this kind can people allow in a year, and whether they can prepare themselves for a fresh party within every couple of months? For these reasons, it seems that the increasing rate of popularity will reach its peak sooner.
